Well personally I need at least 3 opportunities a day to express my outrage and indignation or I just can't sleep at night.

THreads like these allow me to make my insensative comments if i feel like it now and then. Keep em coming.

Today is a "yeah thats kinda messed up," but happens a lot. We know nothing of the mothers situation other than she was obviously absoloutley desperate and its a shame no one came to help her before it happened.

I find it sick but Im not shocked since I tend to hear of such cases happening here and there. Even heard some Chinese kill or just throw away girl babies on the streets if parents want a boy(and its common there to have just 1 kid) and people there dont find it so much out of order.

Its not common, its the law. If you have a second child, as soon as it's born they'll take it and kill it.

No they don't, although forced abortions are (were?) common amd the penalties for having 2 children are pretty harsh (losing your job, heavy fines, kicked from the party).

Hmm.. i was taught in geography that unless there are exceptional circumstances, the 2nd child would be killed :/
Damn teachers at my school sucked.
