Shockwave???

I should activate rosetta emulation ?? i went to Application > Get info but no rosetta to activate for me. So therefore, i cant download and install shockwave. Anyone can help? I need shockwave badly.
 
Ok if you have an intel mac (Macbook, Macbook Pro, Mac Pro, Newer iMac's and newer Mac Mini's) then to use shockwave you need to run Safari in Rosetta because shockwave won't work otherwise. To do this Command + Click on safari in the dock (or find it in the finder) this will open a window in finder where it is located and should even highlight it for you. Now Command + I (Right click + Get Info) then select the Rosetta emulation mode which should be a tick box near or next to the locked tick box.
 
I wasn't aware that anyone needed to download shockwave? :confused:

All websites have generally "just worked" for me.

Its one of those things you have probably installed ages ago and forgoten about. Shockwave won't work (normally crashes the browser) on intel macs if you havent got it in Rosetta mode.
