Shoes for gym and running

Cant decide what shoes to get for mostly working out and running im thinking about buying these as i really like the looks and seem to be good

but im not sure whenever they will provide me the right support as i havent been able to try them on

I want to start running outside as well and would want my shoes to look good (not a fan of those really flashy patterned running shoes that you get)
So what shoes would you guys recommend that provide good support for overall exercising at the gym, floor exercises and running and would also look good with shorts and joggers like these

What gym work will you be doing? Generally speaking, running shoes and weight lifting shoes will provide different kinds of support/padding.

I just generaly want my shoes to be comfortable, i will be running on the treadmill, exercise bike but that doesnt really need good shoes, abs exercises( heres some links to the sort of exercises ill be doing at the gym and home )

Im still a beginner as i only started going to the gym like 5-7 weeks ago but havent been able to do anything for 3 weeks as im on holiday .

Buddy - no offence, but I just lost half my (still puny, but hard-won!) gains by watching those videos.

1) Stronglifts.

2) Abz are made in the kitchen: not in the gym. The reason people don't have them (in general) is because of body fat percentage. Reduce this and your abs will show. This is why skinny people have six packs: not because they're hench, but because they're skinny.

3) You don't need to go to a gym to do what's in the second video...

Seriously: google "Stronglifts" and start with that. It will make you a better person.

Secondly, if you INSIST on doing cardio that involves running, then get some decent running shoes to reduce the chances of things like shin splints. If you're only doing cardio to get a six-pack, then two more things:

1) Consider this a *SLAP*

2) Buy something like an astro trainer that has a supportive (but not squishy) sole so you can lift weights and train more effectively. This means you can still use cycling and rowing machines.:cool:
