Having never bought quality shoes until a year or so ago I am now completely sold on the idea of shoemakers shoes.

My first pair where a pair of Alden shoes which I am very happy with but they are not so easy to find in the uk.

Trickers seem to have a sale on at the moment so I have ordered a couple of pairs of shoes which would normally cost £500 ish for around £200. I don't know what to expect from them but they should be here in a couple of days.

I am also quite pleased with a pair of Cheaney shoes I have been using for a few months, the quality seems to be quite good and they are also very comfortable.

I heard that Herring makes nice shoes but I have never tried them.

I also hear good things about

So who else makes decent shoes without going completely crazy and spending £3k on a pair of bespoke shoes. I am not really looking to buy more now but I would not mind hearing people thoughts on the brands out there.
