Dress code change in work...

I need some shoes but I've been wearing adidas zx700 so my feet are susceptible to pain...

Does such thing exist ?

1-2 people I used to work with talked up Geox black leather trainers but never tried them myself. Merrell have a few that could pass if they aren't too fussy but otherwise there are a fair few options for terms like black leather trainers on google and Amazon.

I'd recommend the ones I used to wear but they've stopped making them :|

Clarkes do (or at least did) some.

I cannot remember what they were called but they were basically a smart/casual leather upper with a trainer sole.

Very comfortable.

To answer the OP, you don't need shoes that feel like trainers. Just good shoes that fit well. I splurged in my younger days and have a few pairs of John Lobb/Edward Green/Church's that have lasted me ages, but I imagine somewhere that measures your feet properly and makes sure the shoes fit like Clarks should do alright if you are on a lower budget.

I hate shoes...

was gonna say rockport, hush puppies Pod. Some kind of crappy soft rubber shoe that is remotely shoe like and not trainer like.

Toms Brogues are the comfiest shoes i've ever owned. As comfy as Converse or trainers of that type.

They aren't the most robust mind, the sole doesn't take a whole lot of wear.

I find Clarks are the only "normal" shoes I can wear which feel light and comfortable on my feet.

Something like this which is the latest version of what I'm currently wearing:

Wide fit and I also find Clarks are the only shoe which don't dig into the back of my heel creating a massive blister/raw blood soaked crater.

I've worn Oxfords every day for years and they are perfectly comfortable. Just buy a reasonable quality pair and I'd be surprised if they weren't fine after wearing in a little.

Sale on at Clarks with a decent selection http://www.clarks.co.uk/c/mens-sale

Really sorry to say this but when I was a kid at school, those shoes (but in brown) were known as "Dylan shoes" *snigger*. I don't know why.

I've got three pairs of Clarks Dorset Limit brogues, brown, black and chestnut and once they're broken in, they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I've had the brown ones resoled and heeled about five times and I can literally (this is the correct use of the word literally) walk miles and miles in them without my feet suffering at all.

I have a feeling they've just been discontinued as I saw the chestnut ones in the sale this week so if you can find them now, they're an absolute bargain.
