Dress code change in work...
I need some shoes but I've been wearing adidas zx700 so my feet are susceptible to pain...
Does such thing exist ?

To answer the OP, you don't need shoes that feel like trainers. Just good shoes that fit well. I splurged in my younger days and have a few pairs of John Lobb/Edward Green/Church's that have lasted me ages, but I imagine somewhere that measures your feet properly and makes sure the shoes fit like Clarks should do alright if you are on a lower budget.
Really sorry to say this but when I was a kid at school, those shoes (but in brown) were known as "Dylan shoes" *snigger*. I don't know why.I find Clarks are the only "normal" shoes I can wear which feel light and comfortable on my feet.
Something like this which is the latest version of what I'm currently wearing:

Wide fit and I also find Clarks are the only shoe which don't dig into the back of my heel creating a massive blister/raw blood soaked crater.
