Shogun 2 total war how do i cross water

Hi all i have all the units i want apart from bow hero and yari hero then i need fire cav etc but how do i get to the island in middle of avitars conquest do i need to do naval battles ? hate them lol

You need a naval carrier ship to transport your troops. You don't have to engage in a naval battle with war ships but if your carriers get engaged they may not be able to retreat and you'll lose your army. If you think you can get across without a navy then go for it.

In Avatar Conquest you need to win a naval battle in that stretch of water to get to the land. I'm assuming you're talking about the small island with the Stealth Unit building (north east), and the island of Shikoku where there is a bow emphasis (Mid-South).


Put your navy statue in that small stretch of water near it then win a sea battle to gain access to the bow building and the retainers.

thnks for that, hate the naval batteles but will have to to get bow hero and yari hero yeah its the island on the left side of the map
