Shooting fireworks

Going to be a fireworks display tomorrow night, i might head down and take the 70-200mn F4 L with me and the 350d kit lens

So anyone got any tips for shooting fireworks that they might want to share.

hehe, the annual "How to shoot fireworks thread".

Tripod, remote shutter release, play with exposures from 3-5 seconds at around f/8.0. Shoot on the bang and let the long shutter speed capture the trails.

I went into take some photos and missed the whole show by being 30 minutes late

. Ach well more on Tuesday night at the same place.
