So, i'm wanting to upgrade my current rig, and here it is:
e6300
4gb Geil ULL PC6400
asus p5k
8800gts 512mb
Now, i've been seeing the q6600's getting cheap, and the overclockability seems nice with them. I don't need an extreme upgrade, just a few notches up (quad core instead of dual core, higher clock, etc).
I will be shifting any old parts into a christmas PC project for my family, so i'm thinking of upgrading the mobo and CPU? But to what combo? e8400? q9550? q6600? and what mobo? I've lost my geeky ways, hoping to get them back with some suggestions here!
