Shooting tethered

Moving to tethered for a motorsport series I cover. 7" windows tablet mounted to the hotshoe so when I get a minute inbetween laps I can sort the cars into folders. A bit of extra weight but it should cut at least an hour off post processing time.

Depends what you are shooting, but Lightroom is mega slow tethered.

I shoot teathered in the studio and waiting for Lightroom feels like a life time.

Capture one is where it is at for teathered shooting, I used it to simply capture the shots, they were then edited in LR/PS.

Yeah what ZG002 said, except I also edit the shots in C1 with Photoshop for more detailed retouching. It's worth bearing in mind that almost every panel in C1 can be customised to your liking/workflow.

I do it for focus stacking macros - using the Canon utility on a laptop and an automated programme off the web. 20 - 250 shots!
