Just ordered the raystorm kit, cant wait - was tempted to get the 280mm black ice but the extra cost couldn't be warrantied.

I've got that raystorm kit and it's a nice start, been using it since around september and all good.

The raystorm or the ek waterblock for a 4770k? Also what improvements do the rev 2 gpu blocks for the 290x have and are they worth getting over the £66 one? What is the difference between the nickel and acetal blocks? I seems to recall reading there was some issue with nickel ek CPU blocks(think it was acemoder on here who one cause a leak in his PC), is there such issues with the gpu blocks?

I built my current PC just before/after Xmas, been meaning to watercool it need a CPU block, gpu block, fittings and some new tubbing got a rad(it's a several year old xspc rad so not sure if it's upto handling a 4770k, 290x and Maximus vi formula) and res/pump.

Ok well no thanks to the non-replies(dforce on my thread in the watercooling section) I've taken the plunge on the raystorm CPU block and the ek 290x gpu block, now just need to work out which size tubbing to go for so I can then order the compression fittings and the fluid(what's the popular 'water' right now? I'd be going for red/black most likely due to the colour of the rest of the components, Maximus vi formula being the red most of the rest is black).
Tried going through quidco but getting message saying that the ocuk are having technical issues and will be back on quidco soon, would have saved me like a £1.

Well my order came today, had the tangtastic mini harribo. Now I need to hope the gpu block isn't a pig to fit, I had trouble getting all the screws off the cooler of the 9800 gtx several years back.
