Just messing about with this as it's cheap for 3 months but not sure how to go about my needs.

I make personalised children's clocks with an image on if they have a favourite thing like dinosaurs, gymnastics, football etc, so I literally have about 200+ image choices with a range of 5 clock colours and there name of choice Inc date of birth if wanted.

So my question is how do I make this as easy as possible to buy with all the variables. My thinking was to have collections for images for instance football collection, fairy collection then colour choice, then personalisation message but can't see how to do this.

Any help appreciated and can put pics up if it doesn't break rules.

This should be possible with variants I think.

The personalisation might need a custom field added though.

Off the top of my head, to make this as easy to show users, I’d actually probably make each individual clock face a separate product and have the colours as an option for each one.

It would allow you to have collections and have the site navigation and product lists a little clearer.

Technically you could effectively have ONE product with variation combinations for face and colour, but it would make the site setup a little harder to customise the navigation that showed all the options - rather than just on product shown to the user with a massive list of options to choose from (which I assume is what you’re trying to avoid)
