I was just shopping around looking for a cheap copy of BF2, as mine has seemingly dissapeared :(

So i look on the net and the first 3 sites i look at have a varying degree of cost

(not sure if i can give links so i will leave them out)

site 1 : 19.99
site 2 : 14.99 (getting better)
site 3 : 39.99

i'm just wondering why site 3 would price it so high, i checked its not a so called 'deluxe package' or anything, so why would they obviously prive themselves out of the market on a product??
I can understand the difference between the first 2 sites but the third has me stumped.

anyone had simliar experiences with stuff like this?

Probably just poor research / price monitoring on that site's hands. I'll presume also that a lot of other games are overpriced also from them. The game being £39.99 is a total rip off.

been looking on the same 3 sites now and there are price differences on most of the games but not as much as the difference on BF2, someone must have made a mistake when putting the prices down.

and no its not a 'special edition' just the game same as the other 2 sites.

You can not ask for competitors here.

I got my copy for £14.99 two months ago.

I have been looking for Special Forces as I want my SF badges, but I would only play it for like a week then I wouldn't play and I don't really want to spend £14.99 for that

But then SF is is what BF2 should have been at launch. ;)

I wasn’t saying any thing negative about bf2 sf I have it and find it fun, not as good as bf2 but fun.

I was just saying that there is 2 editions of bf2 going about and that might account for the price difference.

Because of the costs of adding PM's to the site. There was talk ages ago of a paid membership with PM's enabled, but I dont think it took off.
