Hi, A friend of mine needs to build a website with paypal integration, the customer requirements are he must be able to add/edit/delete products.

Looking for something really simple to deploy, any ideas?

Hi, you dont need any PHP/MySQL knowledge to use OSC, it's all managed through a back-end CMS.

Tsohost.co.uk have oscommerce as a pretty much one click install the in cPanel scripts library.

Pretty much all cPanel hosts have an auto-installer for it, but you need knowledge to run the software - you have to understand how it works, or you'll be in trouble at some point. I really would not recommend doing it yourself if you struggle to understand how it works.

Also look at X-cart as anr alternative, though it costs ~$299.

Im a web developer by day, the problem I have is the person who's doing this isn't and I need something on the windows platform, http://www.aspdotnetstorefront.com/ looks good.

PHP/MySQL will run on Windows though, and Oscommerce will work fine:

osCommerce can be installed on any server where a web server with PHP has been installed on and has access to a MySQL database server.

This includes shared servers, dedicated servers, and even locally on the computer you are currently using, using Linux, Unix, BSD, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
