Shopping for a guitar

I posted a thread a while back but I assume it got lost when there were server issues? anyway...

I'm looking for an electric guitar setup for a beginner and I'm in need of a few good retailers and recommended guitars.(yes I have seen the sticky)

I'd like the setup to be less than £200 ideally so I'm hoping to find something good in the sales

The sticky is there for people to use in these cases, there is plenty of advice on there, including beginner recommendations, so please use it.
