I am surprised nobody has picked up on this.
About a month ago now THQ launched their own online store offering, amongst other things, PC downloads. Now normally that would be fine...I mean that is what I wanted Origin to be and that is acceptable. What isn't acceptable is that THQ are still putting Steamworks on their games but refusing to sell through Steam in the UK.
WTF THQ?
I mean its not a massive issue because I can and have just ordered games from elsewhere and activated them on Steam no problem. It is the principle of the thing. It would be like BF3 not being able to be purchased via Origin (ok not quite that bad as BF3 isn't a third party game on the platform but you get my point).
anyway in the words of that berk from the tivo advert:
"but what do you think?"
edit: This is not really a rant about shopTHQ, that is fine and a good idea. The issue comes if shopTHQ is the reason why THQ are removing games from Steam. It is the same anti competitive bull**** that EA played with Origin and BF3.
