Shopto Delivery

Shopto are normally pretty good i've been using them for years, you used to be able to claim after 3 days, not sure why it changed to the now 15 days.

I've had games go missing about 3 since 2007 and considering the amount i buy thats not bad going (goldmember)

Shopto used to send out another copy after just 3 days if it didn't turn up and they would also credit your account with £3 for the trouble, but I guess that stopped because people were more than likely abusing it.

They are very good at sending out another copy within a few days in my experience with them had a few PC games go missing you fill in the declaration then thats it really.

I recently ordered 2 games from shopto, one went to the old address and one came to the new address, both receipts showed the new address and they could not offer an explanation on the phone, used to love them, won't ever use them again.

So last Sunday I ordered Portal 2 from the above, Monday came I had by despatch email, happy days I thought.

Now a week later I have no game, I am assuming the scumbag ***** at Royal Mail have pinched it, I have looked on the Shopto website and I have to wait 15 working days (3rd August) before I can claim a lost parcel.

Now I know there is nothing I can do but wait until this day (and it's bloody frustrating!) but my question is has anybody else had to claim lost packages through Shopto? Are they relatively good with this or do they question everything and try to squirm out sending a replacement?

The website makes it seem painless, but I'm expecting trouble.

Do you think I will get MW3 the day before release? :D

Okay so just over a week later, my game has landed. It has one of them 'Citipost' stickers on it though, this is what happened with play they used to be very quick with delivery but then all of a sudden packages started to arrive a week after dispatch and they always seemed to have these Citipost stickers on them where as before they didn't. My package from GAME today had one of these Citipost stickers on it and it's really the first time GAME have been poor with delivery of something.

Do any of you know anything about this crowd?

I think they are an alternative to Royal Mail.

No idea how good their network is in the UK though, as they seem an Asian/European/Canadian outfit. Probably trying to break into the UK.

Noticed this myself, used to be next day 9 times out of 10, now I'm lucky if I see in 3-4 days...

Ordered from tesco, thanks for the heads up.

Lets hope it comes, seemed destined not to play this.

I do not believe this ****!

Ordered and they have stock, now my order is sat awaiting despatch, and it's out of stock and priced at £32 quid.

If this fails I really give up, I am even too scared to get it from the shop as I will probably get ran over on my way out.

I HAVE IT!!!!!!!!

I didn't call them, I looked at my account and it said no reason given for a refund.

The best part is, Tesco haven't charged me for it yet either!
