Why on earth do I need to give my credit card details over to register?

Was hoping to preorder a few things, but I'm not so keen having seen this.

I wouldn't worry; they've always been top class when I've used them, especially for pre-orders.

Aren't these the ones who ask people to send them a scan of their passports in really broken English?

This nowadays on PC their prices are very good & delivery is fast if it gets lost within 5 days they send another & you can get recorded delivery for free!

I've switched over to them from play.com and removed play.com from my bookmarks now I've seen how amazing shopto are. I got Deus Ex HR 2 days early, was brilliant

Yup, they've been great so far. Bought a Razer Onza which has gone faulty twice, both time replacement within the week.

Just be aware if you buy hardware to keep all original packaging as they won't accept returns without it.

I used to use them until one time I didn't have enough money in my account for a pre order.

They tried to take the money, (quite rightly) refused and I can't order anything from them since!
