I need a shorter than average, from front to back, case to fit into the cupboard that my Shuttle is in at the moment. I'm going back to ATX as the i series Shuttles are simply too much money.

I've been looking at the A05NB as a compact design, but it is still 490mm deep and simply won't fit. Well, it will fit, but won't leave enough room for me to open my DVD drive, even with right angled kettle lead and DVi plugs.

The TYR range from Lian Li are shorter, and have a stack type approach that would be ideal, but for one thing they are quite tall, and secondly, they are out of my price range. Pretty much double what I can spend.

Does anyone know of any alternatives?

cheap generic case is your best bet or you could build a case

Did think about building one out of a couple of old Lian Li ally cases, but to get the finish I'd want would be beyond me I feel.

I have considered the Antec 300 Craig, and it is about 35mm shorter, so it might be a really good option. I've had one before, and I think it's an excellent case. Cooling's good, and it takes full size everything.
