Short freezes when streaming video.

Hi,

This has been bugging me for a while and decided to finally post about it.
When I’m streaming video (Netflix, Amazon, sky go app) I’m experiencing very short freezes every so often. It does not happen a lot. Maybe once or twice every half an hour but it’s getting a little annoying now.
Has anyone got any idea what could cause this ? Was thinking it was maybe chrome itself but the sky app is doing it as well.

Specs are i7 3770k @ 4.2
16gig dd3
980ti

Have you tried jsut playing a 1 hour long mp4 video in windows and see if it happens. Could be a codec not installed. Need to see if its the apps/OS or hardware issue so please try this.
