Short space sata power leads?

I have just rebuilt my pc into a Corsair Obsidian 550D and everything is great apart from one annoying problem. The sata hdd caddy has my 3 drives close together and trying to get them powered is a nightmare, the cable from my thermaltake modular is just too awkward and bulky to get them all powered.

The lead is also the wrong damn way round!... the way the connectors fit seems arse about face and you have no choice but to drop the cable DOWN rather than the logial UPwards.... i dont have the tools to recrimp the cable so the connectors are close together... they need to be about an inch apart but instead im having to try and bend the 3 or 4 inches between each one into the tight space provided. Its seems very daft and its putting pressure on all 3 sata connectors on the HDDs.... is there a solution? I see there are some cables on the shop but none say they are for thermtake modulars and none seem to have the very short spacing required!

Is the only option to try and crimp them myself?

i need something like this http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/7337/img1606g.jpg

at the moment im like this http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6122/5991173542_df7762dd1d_z.jpg

And want to be like this http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6026/5990644035_6872e8d494_z.jpg

I tried putting the drives in upside down but the bottom of the 3 wont fit in at all.... and the right angled sata data cables only just fit as it is. Very annoying!

there really easy you don't need any tools, cut the sleeve off, pull the back of the sata blocks off, note down what wires go where, then pull the cables from the plug, plug the power end into the hdds then push the cables back into place with a penny or butter knife put the cover back on and done
