My friend's dad wants a new computer and has a budget of £400 to spend so my mate thought he'd take advantage and give his dad his computer (Well most of it) and get a free upgrade for himself out of it lol.

My friend is buying an AMD Phenom II X4 905e off of me (2.5ghz 65watt energy efficient) and needs some memory and a motherboard to go with it.

Was looking at:

Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-14400C8 Dual Channel (KHX14400AD3K2/4G)

And

Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard

Are those the best choice for the money?

Thanks,

Andy
