I'm after ideas or links to sites for short team building activities for a youth group. They need to be between 5-15 minutes in length for groups from 6-7 up to perhaps a group of 30. The age group is 13-16.

Any ideas from personal experience or anyone know of any resources I could tap into?

Burnsey, do you get any preparation time, or is 10-15 minutes all you have? If you do get prep time for materials etc, then raft building is an excellent one. 10 minutes to build from makeshift materials, barrels, rope etc, then 5 minutes onboard... if it lasts 5 minutes at is :-) It can be bloody hilarious!

Moses - not sure what you mean by the Muslim reference, but seriously about H&S? We did this on a lake, so probably not much deeper than a swimming pool where we were. Certainly H&S gone mad if you want my opinion.

What about other outdoor pursuits like sailing, seal launch, wind surfing etc? There are instructors nearby on the lookout, same goes with raft building.

Theres one that I enjoyed when we did our last team building exercise...

What you had to do was build a bridge between two desks about a meter apart...

- with only "A4 paper, as many sheets as you need.. and 1 mtr of sellotape. It had to hold as many cream eggs as it could.. The winning team got to keep all the cream eggs...
