Short Term Car Insurance Recommendation

Hi, does anyone have a recommendation of a company that does short term car insurance? My old Lexus is due for MOT so i need to insure it for a day to go and have that done before putting up for sale.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are the registered keeper then Veygo are a good shout. As long as you are the registered keeper you don't need alternative insurance in place

I used dayinsure.com (Underwritten by Aviva) last year - absolutely no issues but worth playing about with the duration slider, as certain points on the slider were proportionally cheaper (e.g. 10 days was better value than 7 days for example)

Another one that cropped up when I was looking was cuvva, but dayinsure.com were cheaper when I looked.

I went through RAC last week to drive Mrs's new car home as her insurer couldn't immediately swap her policy from the old one (system issues apparently

24hr policy with immediate start, £24.

Another vote for Veygo - I used these a few times when I needed to temporarily insure a third car and they were excellent
