Hi guys,

I'm going to strip down an old r7870 that's artifacting (my daughters got my hand me down system but no GPU yet) and guessing i'll have to replace the heat pads.

Don't think the cards going to get much use once I've upgraded so I was wondering if any of you have tried the cheap thermal pads available at various places and if so are they suitable for -hopefully- a few months use ?
