Short term memory

Hi, every time i start my computer, it forgets settings to most of my programs. Afterburner forgets OC settings etc, Nvidia control panel forgets settings for secondary monitor, Youtube doesn't remember video locations. Is this connected to the BIOS battery at all or is this software related?

Hi, what are your system specs, inc. exact PSU etc?

dose the time in bios reset? have you lost any saved bios setting?
if no then not battey problem

go into bios and get a silly bios date and time 10:66 10/10/2020.
save and exit then unplug your system from the wall for 10 mins. when you plug it back in the date should be the same, if not your have a battery problem

3570K, GTX 680 Lightning, Silverstone 450 80+ Gold (this one to be exact http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=342&area=en), Asrock Z77E ITX.
I'll try the time in the BIOS when I turn it off next (at LAN atm)

So i tried changing the time and unplugging it, the time stayed the same as it should in the BIOS. So i presuming it not that. Any other ideas?
