Shortage: AMD Socket 939 X2 3800, 4200 & 4600!

As predicted there is massive shortages on AMD X2 3800, X2 4200 and X2 4400 on socket 939.

I have literally bought everything I can in the UK and parts of Europe too.

We do have ample X2 3800 and X2 4200 in stock!

However the X2 4600 is selling at monstrous rates and our first lot of 100 units have shipped but we still have another 200 to ship out and most of those will ship over the next few days!

I did warn that socket 939 X2's would be hard to come by and I was not mistaken. Look around elsewhere you will see other Etailors have either not done price drops or don't have stock.

you're right, there's a severe lack of stock amongst your competitors, good job sourcing all those units

I've literally allocated every piece of stock at every single UK distributor and a few European distributors. I may even have to consider bringing stock over from USA but am hoping AMD UK will somehow find some stock out of a corner from their warehouse...

Everywhere I have seen has got no 4600's, got the very last one from a competitor today and its shipped

Thats because we've bought most of them. I think everyone has been surprised at how they have sold, absolutely mental. We shipped just under 100 orders with those on today and will ship another 200 over the next couple of days.

Does that mean if we havent got out dispatched notification yet then it wont be part of the first batch? Or are some still being picked/packaged/posted?

so how do you know if you will get your 4600 as they were in stock when ordered last thursday.as if im not going to get one might aswell just jump up to the conroe as ive got the extra money now.but dont mind waiting 2 more days at the most and then i will just as well cancel. feel sick now that i might not get one at those nice prices,

Andy I orderd one last thursday as well , still showing not processed at the warehouse.

what I want to know is will I deffo be getting one.

Lots of orders left in warehouse, give it until tomorrow midday but I am sure it will ship soon.

Ive just come from the shop and theres no 3800x2s left!!!
4 in stock of the 4200x2s (i had he 5th)
ocuk said they may get some more in the week !!

What time did you go in, as I booked another 100 X2 3800 in around 5:30ish as with warehouse been so busy we've been booking stock in as required for Internet orders. You should have got the shop guy to ask purchasing as we can see stock not booked in yet.

So to recap:-
X2 3800 - Approx 80 left, another 200 arriving within next 48 hours
X2 4200 - Approx 20 left, another 100 arriving in next 48 hours
X2 4400 - Approx 40 left, these are EOL so v. hard to get!
X2 4600 - ZERO LEFT, 150 arriving tomorrow with a further 300 en-route
X2 4800 - Approx 80 left, these are EOL and v. hard to get!

This AMD price drop has made socket 939 sales go mental, wheras AM2 sales have only seen a slight boost.

Also the poor Conroe launch is no doubt helping AMD to boost numbers too.
