Shortages and Panic buying: good news

It is being reported that there may be a shortage of turkey at Christmas this year.

I see this as good news, as I don't like turkey meat at all.

Considering how little turkey is stocked in supermarkets outside the Christmas period, I can't see that turkey is actually very popular.

People just have it at Christmas as it is expected of them. It's a bit like talking to your brother-in-law in that respect.

Are there any other turkey haters here, who see a potential shortage as good news?
