shortcut icons

hey dows anyone know how to remove these annoying arrows from shortcut icons?

I remember with XP you could reduce the icon size a bit and they would dissapear.

tried it on vista but doesnt work... any ideas?

It was easily done with TweakXP or TweakUI. Not sure if there is something similar for Vista though. I have seen reports of TweakUI being used on Vista after some slight mods. Have no experience of it myself though.
