Shortcuts on a usb drive, is there another way?

Is it possible to use shortcuts based on a usb on any computer, even when the drive letter is different?

I thought that instead of F:\sfghsdghnidbg
it might be possible to do *keyword* \sfghsdghnidbg

where the keyword looks for the relevant drive.
