Afternoon
Seems like I ran out of options and willing to try and short the bins on the gpus mobo in order to write bios on it
I remember doing that with rx580 and it worked
Card I have to play with is gtx1070 ftw acx3.0
Any idea where would I find such info?
Googling didn't bring any results unlike with rx580
Any suggestions guys?
Cheers

basically card is non operational, trying to revive it if at all possible
Fans spin up, leds come on etc but no display output, seems like an issue for a lot of gtx1070s evga/zotac/asus which I never came across
gpuz and device manager discover it as gtx1070
gpuz shows no info on mem, bios blocks etc
Flashing via evga site only works for slave bios, not conviced its flashing in the first place
flashing via dos states no nvidia hardware found
Only trick left is to short the bios pins while in windows and hardwrite bios

Have you tried any troubleshooting with it like a different monitor cable or different output on the card? May save trying to flash a bios on to it.

Using exact same things as for gtx1070ftw2, they are not that different to be honest just icx
One is flawless the other one isn't :D

Had this problem with mates 980ti when he put a custom bios on it, the driver would stop it from posting. We put it in my pc running an amd gcard, device manager would detect it and so used nvflash and forced a rom flash with a copy of the original bios.

Not sure if you tried nvflash?

Can only flash slave bios, unable to flash anything on master
Nvflash didnt work for me, feels like bios isnt being updated
Would likd to try and short pins but not sure where to get that info

If I remember rightly its always pins 1 and 8 on the bios chip, boot the machine remove the bridge and then flash. 100% works on every amd card ever made. Never seen the trick performed on an nv card.
