Been having issues with my windows 8.1 booting, so every time I connect the hard drive with it on(have a w7 drive as back up) it would the slow to load and if it doesn't crash it would go straight to bios and then loop round to doing the same thing once I get a blue screen error unless I get really looking to get recovery options, anyways that's not Important, what is, is every time it boots to bios I always notice my Memory running at different speeds and the drop down option doesn't do anything to match them??
Is that normal?
I have 16gb corsair smx3 1600mhz ram, but it wasn't a dual kit, I added the 2nd one later date, but the one reads 1600 and the other reads 1333, I selected that overclock option or whatever it is(xmp or something) thinking that is how to fix it, but nothing I do changes it and while the performance can be up and down depending what's installed etc I can't tell if the slower speed is having any effect?
