Should CSS come with a copy of HL2 bought from a high street shop?

Mate bought it today and i thought you did, me and about 5 other mates did, but hes only got HL2 and HL2

eathmatch =/

He paid 15 quid for it, seeming as i paid 19.99 for at the begining of the year it seems the right price?

does it say that it come with HL2? if it doesnt then no, it shouldnt i guess.

i got it and it included hl2 deathmatch and dod.

i think it did used to be on there until they released the standalone version.

theres loads of different colections, think its the gameof the year edition thats hl2 hl1:source, hl2/1 dm and c:ss

Isn't free off Steam anyway? Maybe I got it when I bought HL2 and it isnt.

You get what's on the box, if you think it includes something else then it's not anyone's fault but your own, there are several different versions of the game and the original certainly had It but the GOTY and some of the other new ones don't.

So in future if it doesn't say it's included on the box then it isn't included.

My copy of HL2 came with CS:S and it says so on the rear cover, as said before I guess there are quite a few different versions.

I got that one for the princely sum of £9.99 a while ago lol

Never completeled HL2 tho :eek:
