Should i add voltage to a 1060 to further my overclock

Hi i have a 1060 gigabyte windforce edition and at this moment i have achieved +175 on the core clock and +650 on the memory should i add voltage to continue or leave it at that. if adding voltage what are the additional risks/ degradation rates

P.S ive done a heaven benchmark for 20minutes and highest ive got is 75c

By adding voltage all your going to do is shorten it's lifespan. I'd stick to stock volts. Overclocking a gpu gets you a tiny boost in FPS. It's not worth squeezing it any further unless your water-cooling

With Boost 3 on Maxwell cards I would say that any potential dangers of increasing core voltage are minimal to non existent as the card automatically reduces voltages / clock speed based on a number of factors to protect itself against damage. The theoretical maximum voltage for Maxwell chips is 1.093v however even with the Core Voltage on +100% I haven't seen my 1070 go past 1.081v whilst boosting to 2152, so even if you set the Core Voltage slider to max your card will only draw what it deems to be safe. I'm not in agreement with the broad statement that "Overclocking a gpu gets you a tiny boost in FPS" my last card was a 780Ti which I was able to overclock by 40% and the boost in clock speed allowed me to run games at much higher settings whilst still maintaining a decent frame rate.

he's already got +175 on the core and +650 on the memory. adding voltage will only now give him a tiny boost over what he has now.
