Just rebuilt my PC new mobo MSI B450 Mortar max and a Palit 3080Ti.
Powered it on ready to instal windows except I forgot to go into the boot menu.
Any PC booted up and is working fine all drivers for the mobo bar audio and network installed and as far as I can make out all is well.

Should I be concerned or is this all OK?

Just make sure to update the motherboard BIOS to the rebar (latest) one and enable rebar in the bios when done and make sure all your settings are in for xmp etc.

You will need to have UEFI enable and CSM disabled and have a UEFI boot on windows with GPT. If your windows is not UEFI and GPT you can convert it to be so, shout if you need help.

You can check if rebar is on in the driver info area or with GPU-Z. Your 3080ti comes rebar ready so no need for bios updates. Of course make sure to be on Nvidia latest drivers too for the GPU.

Looking at the many choices of BIOS update none mentions Rebar..
No idea what is meant by XMP.

Neither do I know what you mean by UEFI enabled and where to find it likewise CSM boot on Windows GPT etc etc. lol.

Latest BIOS for your motherboard is Version 7B89v2D. Can be got from here :-

This explains how to update the BIOS, use M-Flash in the BIOS to do it and make sure copied on a FAT32 formatted USB stick. Link to how :-

How to check if windows is UEFI mode.

https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/85195-check-if-windows-10-using-uefi-legacy-bios.html

Do that stuff first and then will explain further, let me know what mode windows is in before you flash the bios on the motherboard as if in legacy (csm) you will need to make sure to set it back to that to get windows to boot. But if UEFI all you need to do is flash the bios and make sure UEFI is on in bios and csm disabled and set rebar on in the bios and it will enable the 4 decode too on its own and save settings in bios and then check if rebar is enabled in windows via the nvidia drivers or GPU-Z will tell you on first page at the bottom will say enabled or not.

If your windows install says Legacy then you will need to convert windows to UEFI which is easy to do there is a windows command to do it. Just shout if you need help without windows in UEFI rebar will not work and windows will not boot in EUFI mode in the bios.

This explains how to convert windows Legacy mode to UEFI if your windows is not that :-

Bios updated.
UEFI enabled according to Windows.
GPU-Z installed, where to look for Rebar? Do you mean 'Resizeable Bar' as I have found that in GPU-Z but it says disabled?
Where do I find CSM in BIOS had look but could not see it.

CSM should be disabled for Rebar and windows to boot into UEFI.

so all good just do what I said in previous post and I updated it a bit too and let me know.

Also remember to install the latest chipset drivers from here for your board too, good practice to make sure no issues pop up :-

I think I am all good, thanks again for taking the time, there was a time I could probably have worked most of this out for myself but the older I get (67) the more stupid I become lol., thanks again.
