I bought an E6320 over the weekend and have to say it spits on my Pentium D 930 I had in before.

I did some benchmarking on PCmark05 and got this score for the memory test.

It completely waxed the scores on the well known review/benchmarking site we all know ;)

Have other people had this also????

When oc to 3000, got approx 42 c idle, 54 c full load 1.42 vcore
When oc to 3325, 45 c idle, 60 a 61 c full load 1.5 vcore

measured running orthos for 11 hours, with TAT and speedfan.

The scores for cpu's and gpu's on Toms are dubious to say the least. I really would'nt go by anything they say. I had a pair of 7800gt's in my old rig and they were far better than the scores that Tom's give them.

The performance of the GPU depends a lot on the brand that you buy. I've always bought Asus brand, only now i switched to XFX there they do a good bios overclock on there XXX card range. and it gives very good scores.

I'm always mefiant when it comes to sites like toms hardware or xlabs etc..., i rather check forums like this one, and Ocuk is deffently the best one for all sort of information and advice.

Regarding your Cpu, you should easily be able to get an 3000 Mhz overclock with about 1.375 to 1.4 Vcore.

I have it sat on 39c & 57c under Orthos @ 2.8Ghz with 1.35v running through it.

These CPU's really do kick some butt when it comes to speed and temps :D

Well happy with my new buy :)
