Should I be worried about this?

I've just had a banner from another site saying "Nathaniel, your inbox is full!" click here for free stuff, etc. It's using my Facebook info as it was a Facebook style banner. The site isn't associated with Facebook at all and I'm curious to know how it accessed such information and whether my login details and what not could be at risk?

Thanks for any light anyone can shed.

If the site is not associated with facebook and the banner is only in a 'facebook style', how are you sure it's using your facebook info?

Because it had my name and what not. The site I was visiting had no association with Facebook and I'm not registered with the site.

It said "Nathaniel! Your inbox is full" and had a picture of me underneath it...

There's some way of getting a web page to display your Facebook profile picture if you're currently logged into Facebook - there was a spate of people posting up the image on here a few months back.

I imagine it's doing something similar.

It was an ad on a separate website that is not associated with Facebook in anyway, displaying my name and profile picture. If this did happen on OcUK then I'd hope that it's nothing to worry about which is all I wanted to know in the first place. :p

Thank you Confused. :)
