Hello,

I recently built myself a custom water loop, and everything seemed to be going smoothly until i had a look this morning and spotted this..

I only have a very limited view of the other fittings but from what i can tell this one is the only one where a very small amount of liquid has started to gather. Could this be the first sign of a very slow leak? or might it just settle there and not do a lot of anything else.

Given that this is my first experience with such things any information/opinions would be appreciated.

Loop = D5 Bay Res -> 360 Rad -> Cpu Block -> Pump

I am guessing you are talking about the tiny amount of fluid under the compression fitting.

Honestly no I doubt it needs anything done to it but do keep an eye on it and check it in a few days to be sure it has not increased.

If your over cautious and want to be sure you can always drain and refit.

Just check the compression fitting is tight and you should be fine unless you bought the wrong size tubing for the compression fittings.

Things like this are just an indication of things settling eventually you will get this over time but it's nothing to panic about.

You'll be monitoring your temps and things so just enjoy your system until there is actually something worthy of fixing.

Just my opinion.

Thanks for your views. Just had another look and its gone, and not ended up on the back of my gpu which i some what strange. Think i will just wrap a small bit of tissue paper around it for a day or two to make sure and see what happens.

Cheers,
