Do you actually have monitor refresh rate set to 144Hz (and not 120Hz)? And do you have V-Sync disabled in Nvidia control panel and in-game video settings? Also check in Nvidia CP that G-Sync is actually Enabled in fullscreen/borderless mode as it'll help smooth the frames out.

2080S should in theory perform better, but I've just checked some benchmarks for 5700 XT and 2080S on COD Warzone - and AMD cards seem much better optimised for COD, and was actually performing better than the 2080S. Every other game the 2080S smashes the 5700 XT though as expected lol

I would expect these two specs to trade blows pretty closely at stock - with a marginal win for Intel in gaming and certain other workloads.

I think the peak performance of you new system should be consistently higher though - as you should be able to OC that CPU to a decent speed, and your 2080s could have some overclocking headroom too.

The 120FPS thing makes me think you have some kind of limiter in place anyway though

Its just an average of 120 fps. It varies from 100 to 140 at times.

The easiest way to test COD/Warzone FPS is just put the fps counter on and keep an eye on it on the main menu screen as the character walks towards you. For me that FPS figure has generally been bang on around my average fps in the game.

Download MSI Afterburner and you can tune settings with that to overclock it.

After checking bench marks my ryzen is getting 4800 and the Intel is getting 6200 on cinebench

I've copied the graphics settings from what I use pn the ryzen in game on warzone. I believe everything should be installed.

I didn't read the other posts but I wouldn't expect any really noticeable difference. CPU's make much less of a difference these days than GPU's. Certainly going from those two I would expect a slight measurable difference but in real terms ~ playable terms, you aren't going to notice anything at all.
