Poll: Should I become a Moderator?

I feel your pain - it's a question we've all been struggling with. I can think of lots of positive but only a few negatives.

POSITIVES (BIGLY GOOD)

• Get to hang out with Maccy in real life;
• Promote harmony and wellness within our fractured community;
• Moderate with impartiality, moderating particularly hard on those people I don't like;
• Pr0n forum (it is real);
• Find out Freefaller's address and where he gyms;
• Something about ethics, maybe?;
• New business card at work;
• God-Emperor powers; and
• Provide a sense of levelness and rationality.

NEGATIVES (BUT HER EMAILS!)

• Less time to deliver meaningful content in thought-provoking threads I've created;
• Smoothbrains getting worked up over a white male being put in a position of perceived authority; and
• Having to actually read threads before I comment on them.

I strongly suspect the invite is in the post, just in time for Christmas. What to do?
