Should I BIOS update?

Hello

I have a GIGABYTE motherboard system.

X570 GAMING X (AM4)

Is it worth checking how to update my BIOS version and what changes from current version?

Never flashed a bios to update before can anyone give instructions.

Was thinking as well as updating the bios if it goes wrong it make computer completely unusable, heavy paper weight. lol.

Double check the board and match it up because a quick search shows no 1001 BIOS revision the history
