Should i bother with Skyrim?

Not a RPG fan, but when a game with such good reviews comes along, plus at bargin price on Steam, thinking about it.
Couldnt get into the Witcher, gave it a good shoot but became bored. Didnt mind Fallout 3 and New Vegas though.
So should i give Skyrim a shot?
 
If your unsure like me wait for next years steam sale & pick it up for around £7.50.

I do want to play it but I can get lots more for my £20 in the sale like the 3 stalker games for £6.

When it comes to gaming I do the 1-2 year lag thing :D
 
If you liked Fallout 3 and New Vegas then you will very likely enjoy this. Personally, this is my hands down game of the year (and that's against such stiff competition as Portal 2 and The Wither 2).
 
Bargin price not really I paid £25.21 when the game was first released I would wait to get it for around £10 or £15 if your not rpg fan think you will get bored with this game if you got bored with witcher.

If you don't like rpg's you will probably hate it.

I must admit after 10 mins i was bored to tears, seems like a good game though if you are into that sort of thing.

I disagree. I love RPGs but I’ve tried playing The Witcher several times now, even pushed myself to get to Chapter 2 and couldn’t get into it. Can’t think of a single other RPG that’s had this effect on me. Been playing since Akalabeth through Megatraveller, Phantasy Star, Baldurs Gate, KOTOR, Dragon Age etc and have finished most of them so my experience is pretty comprehensive. My point? You can like Skyrim and still not like The Witcher.

Think about it for a while then just buy it retail and add to Steam, I got a retail copy for Christmas and have just done that
 
I dont like the The Witcher 2 but I like this. I didnt like Oblivion at all but I like this.

Skyrim is less of an RPG than other games. Have you seen the videos on youtube, a lot of people just mess about and do whatever.
 
I honestly thought I would not like Skyrim, not a huge fan of that type of game typically. However I really enjoyed FO3 & New Vegas and so far I haven't played any game other than Skyrim. Highly recommended.
 
This is coming from a player who isn't in to oblivion . World of Warcraft etc I enjoyed fallout 3 and NV (to a point as it was buggy as hell on ps3) I really like skyrim hard to get into a first but I like it . Only thing I find annoying is carrying overweight and trying to fart about crafting stuff the rest I really enjoy.
 
I say give it a shout, its a game though where you have to put the hours into it, once you get into it though and soak up the athomsphere you might have a problem of putting it down, but it also just mightnt be your type of game, its worth a try
 
Great Game, personally i think FO3 was the better game, but thats just preferring the setting more than anything. Plus SKyrim has no Giant robot of doom :(
