Hi guys, first post here so bare with me.

I want to build a computer which i can upgrade as i get more money, as well i don't have a lot at the moment, however i'm worried that i may screw everything up and the computer wont function properly. I'm 17 years old and i've been working with computer my whole life, so i know quite a bit about them, but the most i've done with hardware is actually change RAM, which is kind of pathetic.

I have a budget of £410, i just want the computer to be upgradeable for the future, by this i mean. A 500-700Watt powersupply, a good CPU (so i don't have to upgrade for a little while) and a medicore GPU, along with 4gb of RAM.

Could anyone suggest me some parts for that budget? I know it wont be amazing, but as long as the CPU and powersupply and motherboard are decent then i don't think i'll mind with a average GPU.

I do want to game, but the main thing it'll be for is just web/server side programming, but it'd be good to be able to game also.

Please remember i only have £410 to spend including P&P.

Please share your first thoughts/experience with the first time you built a PC and if you had any problems.

Thank you.

EDIT: If you could, please include a Cover which has a PSU already installed, and a CPU which has the fan already installed as i really don't want to try and put on the thermal paste thing as i'm worried i'll fail.

Is this urgent as I would wait for Sandy Bridge (Intel's next major release) which should be in early January. Itself might be above your price point but it could well cause a lot of price drops for other tech and hence I would say wait.

Nope it's not urgent, but i would have to build this myself, do i have to buy the paste for the CPU myself? The thermal paste or whatever, because thats the part that worries me the most.

Also no idea what sandy bridge is.

sorry to bump this up again but i have a few more questions.

If i decide to go with the build below could i upgrade the PSU myself later on?
Also when i order all the items do they come seperatly or just all at the same day?

Please could someone recommend a GPU & hardrive & disc drive that would work with this build.

Edit: Just tryed to add some stuff on my own.

Would everything here be compatiable? Would the thermal paste & everything come witht he cpu?
