Someone talk me out of it or into it, it's a very good price but is it really worth it. I hope to be getting the new Samsung S27A750D 27" 120hz monitor.

I wouldn't bother as your 5970 will undoubtably play everything maxed out as it is! It's only going to devalue so when the times comes that you actually need the extra power they will either be extremely cheap or the next gen cards will be out and you can buy one of those.

Look at some benchmarks...

What price are you looking to pay?

I have been looking at benchmarks, and so i did get it, paid under £150 ;)

I'll have some fun though, i hope the crossfire bridge will be long enough, it's about 9cm's that i got with my mobo.

As for games needing it i'm sure the sims will look great

If you want to get into the Top 10 Heaven 2.5 benchmarks, then yes

Otherwise, save your money. No game out today will max out 3 GPUs. Trust me. Waste of money but nice to have power :)
