Should I buy an Xbox360

Should I buy one of these? Has MS fixed the overheating and dying issues yet?

nothing has been don about overheating iirc, but ive had no overheating issues, supposedly the newer models are more stable. this is my 2nd one ive had since jan, its not locked up once, even been covered in fanta and knocked of the shelf, mine takes a hammering.

dont let this stop you buying it, if it goes wrong u get a free replacement. people buy ipods and they go wrong /[sweeping generilisation]

+ ask yourself the question, do you like the selection of games, if not then dont

what i run mine on or my 2005FPW when im at uni, still looks ok.

Though when im home (like atm) i use my dads 40" HDTV...its so pretty

I got mine 1 week ago and love it. Why?

1. I have a 65 in hdtv.
2. I no longer can afford the time nor money to keep my computer up2date with the latest gfx cards and/or processors.
3. I enjoy playing games whilest sitting on my leather sofa.
4. Excellent wireless controllers means no mess which makes the wife happy.
5. And So far no problems with hardware. BONUS!

I'm sick of these friggin threads, seriously am. Use the search feature, I am getting so fed up typing the same argument to every schmuck. Look at the games out, if you want a new console with new games coming out for the next 4 years, get one, if not, don't. Simple.
