Where are you getting this info from? From most reviews I have read it edges out the GT but not exactly blasts it out the water tbh :rolleyes:

I really love how you've given us the link to the DOOM 3 review, which is known that Nvidia cards perform substantially better in. How about we take a look at the rest of the reviews ;)

but a minute ago you were saying it out peforms nvidia cards out right ? Rather than just focus on a partilcular game or in your case (scores from benchmarks), it not exactly conclusive, have u actually bothered to read the reviews about (what most would think is probably most important is performance in games before you start posting) the results are pretty much the same for most games. Nvidia for some and Ati for another. not going to start going OT and turning this into a Nvidia vs Ati slagging match. Like i said ati is faster but not exactly blowing it out of the water on nvidia cards like you said. Read the rest of the review (or at least rest of the games in each) and see for yourself. :D

Sell your GT, Buy the GTX and then the X1800xt aswell, Use each card for 2 days and decide which you like better.

Although, Another vote for X1800XT card:D
 
512mb VS 256mb of memory gives up to 10% more fps alone..
I wouldn't buy another 256mb card now.

Buy the XT1800xt 512mb,Or wait and save the money and see what nvidia bring out in march.
