Hey guys,

Just done an upgrade from my sim-only 5S SG to a 6S+ SG and wondering while I wait for stock, and to be delivered to me if its worth cancelling for a 7+ in Black?

How is the 6S+ for speed in comparison? Im thinking to stick as I dont use a lot of space (32gb enough for me tbh) and dont really use the camera either, and am I correct in saying that these are the main upgrades to the 7 from the 6s??

Depends on how much more its going to cost you, the 6s is still a fantastic phone. Bare in mind the lack of 3.5mm aux port on the iPhone 7 also if that matters to you. If there isn't a 'big' difference then i would say go for the 7 but if we are talking hundreds then its a difficult one. Ultimately the 7 is faster, better camera (especially the 7+) and will be worth more when you come to sell it.

yeah, i would be using a headphone jack and dont like the hassle of taht adaptor. it would be a big difference over the two year contract..about £11 p/m extra and more upfront for the handset..

Im not too fussed about the resale value as i will have this a while and yes, they hold there value fairly well apple products..

Thanks for the response, I think I will stick with the 6s+.

I had a 128Gb 6S+, and then upgraded to the 7 plus.

The jump up is minor, honestly. I kinda wish I hadn't bothered.

Ahh, great, thanks for the reassurance, the paranoia was starting to get to me lol

But seriously, I dont think I need a lot of the upgraded features, the main one was if its was like 50%-80% faster etc, so if the upgrade is minimal in that respect then awesome!

The difference in speed between a 6s and a 7 is minimal in real world use. For £11 less per month I think you made the right choice. If the difference had been £5 per month it 'might' have been worth getting the 7 instead.
