I currently have an MSI H61MA-E35 motherboard and am a little disappointed with it as i didnt realise it had a 3rd party sata3 controller, plus it doesnt have a dedicated USB 3 connection on the mobo and lacking a bit in other areas.

I want to take advantage of the better dedicated Intel Sata3 controller, USB3 connections etc.

I want to replace the board. Should i?

If so, which one?

It needs to have the above plus onboard GPU as i dont game much anymore on a pc. It needs to be mATX size too.

Any help would be fantastic.

I'd say replace if you really need sata3 otherwise I doubt you'd notice the difference

Asus gene z77 is good board, and the cheaper z77 asus matx boards

oh come on 280mb/s to 550mb/s on some drives going from 3rd party marvell to intel sata 3 controller. It's worth having if you have more than 1 SSD to move large files to and from.
