I have
I HAVE A old corsair 650tx which I'm using on my x58 i7-930 12gb ram
Msi 970 and 3 HDD plus one SSD

I'm changing to

3XS Overclocked Bundle X99 OC10, Intel Core i7 5820K running at 4.4
Asus X99 DLX, 16GB Corsair DDR4, Corsair H100, MSI 970
One SSD and maybe two 3.5 HDD

Your new pc may even be more power efficient than your old one too. No need to replace a perfectly good, quality psu.

The PSU should be sufficient, but its not a great PSU to begin with. If you're gonna spend all that money on components, then isn;t it worth putting some money towards a good quality PSU with a long warranty and decent efficiency?

His psu is Seasonic built and a decent quality. He already has it, it works perfectly so there is no need to replace it. It won't even be stressed by his new pc.

Im thinking now of the same. Currently have a 4 yr old ax1200 which runs fine. Are components that much better in PSUs these days?
Would it be worth upgrading to a bequiet 850w dark pro 11?

I'd stick with the AX1200. Although it may be overkill unless you're running 2-3x SLI/Xfire it's still a good PSU. If it isn't causing you problems, don't change it and save yourself £170.
