Should i crossfire ?

so i just bought HIS HD 7970 IceQ X² 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card and i already have XFX ATI Radeon HD 6870 1024MB GDDR5 is it worth crossfiring these or should i just put the new card in alone ?

You can't Crossfire cards from different GPU series.
Eg, 6xxx and 6xxx is fine. 6xxx and 7xxx won't work.

Just to be pedantic, 69xx and 69xx is fine, it's the first two digits that have to match. (There are a couple of exceptions, but that''s the general rule).
