Should I ditch this memory?

I need to upgrade the inadequate 512 Mb on my system. I have one stick of Twinmos but I'm unsure of which upgrade route to choose:

1.) Buy another 512Mb matching stick (it seems to be in a few stores).
2.) Buy a 512Mb non-matching stick.
3.) Buy 2 new 512Mb matching sticks that are slightly better quality because I have a suspicion the one I have isn't all that good (memtest gives errors, the odd blue screens etc).

Basically I want to know if the memory I have is good or bad (generally or with my motherboard), and whether its worth just getting 2 completely new sticks/not worth getting another identical one.

Cheers

Any memtest errors mean it should be replaced (either by warranty or ditching and then get a good pair. Adding to it, given that it already gives errors is a bad idea.

I seem to remember tales of Twinmos RAM not always being overly happy in nforce2 motherboards, which could be your problem.

Personally I'd just buy a new 2*1gig kit to replace it.
